Administrator - Joseph Lee

Director of Nursing Services - Sheri Stanley, RN

Assistant Director of Nusing Services - Linda Golightly, LPN

Linda has worked for Sandy Regional Care Center for about six years with responsibilities not only as an assistant to the director of nursing but also in the administration of the Minimum Data Set, (MDS), which is a standardized primary screening and assessment of residents in long-term nursing care. Linda began her career in long-term care in 1986 as a nursing assistant.

Phlebotomist - Tammy Visser

As a phlebotomist at Sandy Regional, Tammy Visser is responsible for drawing blood from patients, residents and staff. She’s been in this position at Sandy Regional for the past five years and prior to this job Tammy worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant Coordinator.
During her hours when she’s not at work at Sandy Regional, Tammy enjoys going camping and boating. She also likes to cook and entertain guests in her home.  The staff especially appreciates it when she shares her kitchen creations with them.

Community Accounts Receivable Manager - Natalie Ross

Natalie Ross has been working at Sandy Regional since October, 2007. She has been working in long-term care for the past 30 years.
Her responsibilities as Sandy Regional’s Community Accounts Receivable Manager include overseeing all accounts receivable balances, insurance authorizations and making sure the business office runs smooth each and every day.
Natalie is married, the mother of two children and the grandmother of five. In her spare time she enjoys scuba diving, sailing and spending time in Gunnison, Utah with her family.

Community Relations Coordinator -  Dave Stoddard

As Community Relations Coordinator for Sandy Regional, Dave’s responsibilities include working with hospital discharge planners, doctors, assisted living centers and administrators, building a working relationship of trust to ensure all the needs of the Sandy residents are met.
Dave graduated from the University of Utah in 2008 with a degree in speech communications. He is currently pursuing a master’s in professional communication with an emphasis in strategic management at Westminster College in Salt Lake City.
When he’s not at work,  Dave said he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel, and playing with his two daughters, Lilly, 3, and 6-month-old Phebe.
“My family is the driving factor for everything I do,” Dave said.

Resident Relations Coordinator - Terri Chacon

When visitors come to Sandy Regional, Terri Chacon is usually the first person they meet. As the admissions coordinator for the facility for the past five years, Terri is always ready to answer any questions prospective residents and their families have.
Terri is married, has five boys and has lived in Utah most of her life.

Director of Rehabilition - Darin Bouwhuis

Darin Bouwhuis has been the director of rehabilitation at Sandy Regional for the last three years and has been in the rehabilitation industry for 13 years. His responsibilities include managing the staff, patient caseloads and daily operations of the rehabilitation department. Darin also is an expert at accessing Sandy Regional residents as to their specific therapy needs.
Darin has received extra training in therapy for CVA, brain injury as well as  leadership and management.
He enjoys sports, working around the house on special projects and spending time with his wife and 7-year-old son.

Director of Staff Development - Jacque Ramos

Jacqueline Ramos has been working at Sandy Regional for the past three years and employed in the nursing care industry for 23 years. Her responsibilities include being in charge of all staff education and training, maintaining employee health files, supervising Certified Nursing Assistants, staffing, infection control among other duties.

Jacqueline is married with five children, she sings in choir and is a huge Michael Jackson fan.

Social Services Director - Regina Pectol, SSW, BS

Regina June Pectol has been working at Sandy Regional since August, 2010 as a social service worker. She has more than 10 years of experience working in the social services industry in various fields including mental health, the homeless and drug addiction communities and even the Utah State Corrections facility.
Regina said working with the geriatric population has made her professional career rewarding and satisfying.
Regina and her husband enjoy fishing, camping, and most recently, riding motorcycles together. They are currently planning a ride to Mt. Rushmore sometime this summer.

 Therapeutic Recreational Technician and Activity Director - Carolyn Bates

Knowing that she is helping to improve the quality of life for many people, Carolyn Bates takes her job as therapeutic recreational therapist and activities director very seriously. She has worked at Sandy Regional for the past 3 ½ years and in the medical field for 12 years. Her specialty is working with those Sandy Regional residents who suffer from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
In addition to her work at Sandy Regional, Carolyn likes to get away to the mountains where she and her husband ride all terrain vehicles.

 Food Services Director - Elias Renteria

Elias Renteria has been a dietary service manager for five years and has been in long-term care for the last 18 years. He has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, business office manager, recreation manager as well as in the housekeeping department.
Making a difference in the lives of senior citizens is what Elias especially enjoys in his job each day.

Medical Records Director - Bonnie Hardy

Bonnie Hardy has been working in the medical records department at Sandy Regional since Jan. 2, 2007. Her responsibilities include making sure all the paperwork for all the Sandy residents and patients is complete.
She has worked in the long-term care industry for about eight years and is currently attending Weber State where she is pursuing a degree in health information management.
When she’s not working at Sandy, Bonnie helps out at her sister’s restaurant in Weber Canyon as a waitress. Bonnie is the mother of five children and the grandmother to 11 grandchildren.

Human Resources/Payroll - Olivia Proctor

Environmental Services - Drew Purdy

With 22 years of maintenance experience, Drew Purdy is the man to turn to for repairs and maintenance to the Sandy Regional facility and all its equipment. He’s been with Sandy for about six years and also plays a role as the community’s building safety and disaster official and facility fire marshal.
In his high school years Drew was a state medalist in swimming. He currently is an accomplished tri-athlete, marathon runner and bicycle racer.

Housekeeping Supervisor - Janet Bemis

Janet Bemis has been Sandy Regional’s housekeeping supervisor since Feburary, 2002 and has worked in the healthcare industry for 10 years. She began her career at Sandy Regional as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Janet is married and the mother of three boys.

Central Supply - Gayle Kilgrow

Gayle Kilgrow has been employed in the nursing industry for the last 13 years with 10 ½ of those years at Sandy Regional.
She currently works in central supply where she orders all the facility’s supplies and delivers them all to Sandy’s residents and nurses. In addition, Gayle is the Shoes for Crews coordinator for Sandy Regional and a DSSI user and trainer.
Gayle has received training for central supply in a variety of categories, is qualified as a Certified Nursing Assistant and has a food-handler’s permit.
Her personal life is as full as her career as she is engaged to be married and is the mother of three children and grandmother to two. When she’s not at work Gayle enjoys watching movies, playing board games and going out dancing.

 Assistant C.A.R.M. - Jackie Linton

Jackie Linton has worked at Sandy Regional for the past 2 ½ years where she spends her days assisting family members of Sandy’s residents with the Medicaid application process. She also is proficient in private collections, deposits, residents’ trust accounts and accounts payable.
Prior to her employment at Sandy, Jackie worked as a finance manager for a company overseeing the credit and collections of its domestic and international accounts payable and accounts receivable. Jackie also had experience as the president of the board of directors for the Eimco Credit Union and was past president of the American Society of Women Accountants, Utah chapter.
In her spare time Jackie enjoys spending time with her three children, 10 grandchildren and her two dogs.
