| Description: |
Under the supervision of the Clinical/Regulatory Director and the Director of Operations, conducts routine visits to assigned facilities to insure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. Insures that nursing policy and procedures have been properly implemented and maintained in the facility. Conducts in-depth pre-survey reviews in accordance with the federal survey process. Assists in the preparation and/or assessment of deficiency statements, prepares for informal dispute resolutions and appeals from Citations and Civil Monetary Penalties. Develops and conducts periodic training programs for facility personnel. Assists in orientation of Directors of Nursing and MDS Coordinators. |

| Education: |
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
License: Current, active license as Registered Nurse in California.
Work Experience: Experience in long term geriatric nursing care and experience and/or training in supervision preferred.
Freedom from illegal use of drugs, and freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position.
